Community Reviews
Community Reviews (also known as Community Assessments) have been conducted in Idaho, Montana and Wyoming since 1999-2000, with scores of rural communities in each state benefitting from these programs. In 2018, after WeCAN formed to see if we could make community reviews more effective for participating communities, the process was transformed to include leadership capacity building and an action planning process designed to assist communities with implementation of goals identified during the assessment phase.
The top map below represents the Community Reviews conducted since 2018 using the new process developed by the WeCAN partnership. The bottom map provides access to documentation on all Community Reviews conducted in the three states prior to 2018. Click on the pins to see Community Review reports.
